After Endeavor enjoyed a killer week, I’m hearing that one of Hollywood’s most underrated actors, Matt Dillon, fired the boutique agency over the weekend. (One source claimed it was a “mutual parting of the ways” rather than an axing.) I understand the reason is this: Dillon hasn’t had a job since You, Me And Dupree, and not a quality job since being nominated for an Oscar in Crash. Endeavor confirmed to me this morning that Dillon is no longer a client and the agency wishes him well. Word is he’ll probably go to CAA. In case you missed it, not much of a surprise that Orlando Bloom headed to CAA last week after deciding not to immediately follow his long-time ICM agent Chris Andrews to the corner of Wilshire and Little Santa Monica Blvds back in mid-June. Bloom was parked with his manager Aleen Keshishian of Brillstein-Grey, ICM London’s Fiona McLoughlin, and attorney Patti Felker.
