My info is that every major agency met or talked with Michael Camacho even though some present and former CAA bigwigs were actively trying to make sure he wasn't hired. (Yup, that's how much they disliked the guy whom the agency considered a "wild rogue".) Finally, it got down to Endeavor and United Talent, and CAA was most concerned that Camacho would go to Endeavor. But UTA's needs fit far better with Camacho's very acknowledged skills in the reality arena, so he will be heading to that tenpercentery. See my previous, CAA Fires TV Agent Over Oprah Intrigue.
