As one of my sources complains, “They are secretive fucks.” But I’m told CBS is giving two drama pilots, The Mentalist (WBTV) and also 11th Hour (WBTV/Jerry Bruckheimer TV) pickups. And the network is saying “maybe yes” to Mythological X (CBS/20th Century Fox TV) for midseason or possibly even fall. As for CBS comedies, I’m told the Untitled Ed Yeager Project is picked up. I’m told Yeager wrote the pilot alone and on spec and handed it to Rick Swartzlander who helped him get it to ABC Studios. So that’s how Rick got attached as producer. But the town is still waiting on renewal news for a lot of shows at CBS, like The Unit or Moonlight.

PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! CBS HAS GOT TO RENEW MOONLIGHT!!
Friday night must-watch TV includes Moonlight — if we miss it, we DVR it. Don’t drop it!
any word on Old Christine? Is CBS picking up any more comedy pilots?
I still can’t believe that CBS is holding out on The Unit. It’s a great show with good ratings (despite a tough time slot) and needs to be renewed. I sure hope CBS doesn’t pass on it and stick us with another dud show like “Secret Talent of the Stars” or “Viva Laughlin.”
Any word on “How I Met Your Mother,” “Old Christine” and “The Big Bang Theory”?
This waiting is torture. I just love Moonlight. CBS just has to renew it. Everyone I know watches this show.
please renew moonlight……..
I hope CBS picks up “Single White Millionaire”, a good solid show that will
compliment their comedy night(s)
I hope CBS does a 2nd night of comedy. It seems like with what they already have on Monday nights (which they don’t even have enough room for) and the new pilots that seem promising (Birbiglia’s and others) they could bring ‘em back in a big way. Maybe even pick up Back to You to go with Christine. More comedies would be much better than another boring procedural.
I agree with Tracy’s comment. Also, CBS is suppose to be making an announcment concerning The Unit by or on May 14. Did you all know that the guys from The Unit are over in Iraq for a whole week (got their May 8, 2008) through the USO? I found pic;s from the USO and another site that were posted on Saturday. I put them on my blog and website at:

The town is waiting to hear whether Moonlight and The Unit are picked up?
What town?
lol
Do not let on line fanatic fans fool you into thinking people outside in the real world care that much about either show…look at their ratings!
Hello!
I’m hoping that even a brain dead programer at CBS can recognize a great show like “The Unit” should be renewed for another season, unlike the glut of cop shows, CSIs, horror/fantasy, and formula comedies, The Unit actually has good story lines and a great cast. The fact that the actors are doing a USO tour in the “sandbox” speaks to the committment of the cast to portray our military in a positive light and thank them for their service. Hopefully the network will recognize what a contender the show is!
Anything else on this Back to You moving to CBS rumour?
Is CAN OPENERS officially dead?
Actually The Unit’s ratings were quite respectable especially considering the competition.
