EXCLUSIVE: I’ve just been told by an insider that “there is a chance, only a chance” that Media Rights Capital which will be programming Sunday’s two hours on the CW “may elect to take Moonlight as one of those two hours”. This is developing to be quite a behind-the-scenes drama because the order came from Warner Bros TV this afternoon to start tearing the Moonlight sets down. But now WBTV will wait until Friday. Before it was cancelled, it had more than twice the number of viewers on CBS than Gossip Girl despite all the hype. So Moonlight could wind up the most watched CW show. Stay tuned.

Thank you for the news. I haven’t been adicted to a show since 10 years ago. Yes 10 long years. So I was so happy with Moonlight and so sure of the second season.Since it was cancelled lets’ just say I’ve been really down so this are good news for me. I don’t care which channel shows Moonlight I will follow. By the way CBS can forget me watching any of their shows. Just a way to show them the same support they show me and the rest of the fans. Now the big question: How do we reach out to the Media Rights Capital people so we can *encourage* them to do this for real? As you know the Moonlight fans are rapid and faithful. We won’t give up without a fight and we will bring our passion to the door of any group that is willing to go to bat for the show. Oh man! After the day I’ve had, this truly is an oasis in the desert. I know nothing’s in stone yet, but just the slightest glimmer of hope after all the hopelessness I’ve been reading today…
It’s now 1.45am here in the UK and I finally feel that I can go to bed and actually sleep – although it’ll be pretty uncomfortable with my fingers, arms, legs and anythig else I can cross; crossed! lol

I will follow Moonlight wherever it goes. The cast is wonderful and the show deserves the respect it has earned and that CBS obviously is blind to.
This is such amazing news! I’m already an avid watcher of both Supernatural and Reaper, which both appear on the CW. Both of which, might I add, are genre shows. So let’s hope this pans out, and CBS will realize what a horrbile decision they made and what potential they threw away.

CBS are fools for letting it go. Yes, there were clearly internal staffing problems on the production, but with better management those could be cleaned up over the summer. Here’s hoping CW’s smart enough to see they’ll be picking up a show with higher ratings than anything they currently run.
I am devastated, too, and I will follow Moonlight to whatever station is airing it. Crossing fingers for this to happen.
