Both ex-Hollywood P.I. Anthony Pellicano and Terry Christensen, the managing partner of the showbiz law firm Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, are charged with wiretapping and conspiracy. Lawyers rested their cases on Friday.

Again the Feds don’t deliver a showpiece. There were more interesting cases presented this week to Judge Judy. When will the gov’t use public money to provide real entertainment to the public? The case didn’t really ‘sleaze’ anybody. Christensen’s defense is along the line of ‘I used prophylactics’ to segregate me from the evildoing. Pellicano’s act is less the attorney-in-fact, and as much the un-sanity defense. Maybe if there’d been a change of venue to Brooklyn this could’a been a really big show.
