Good for Alli…she’s always been good at her job and has good taste.
…and now she has a new generation of writers to poach from.
I’m all for Lionsgate expanding. I think that as a ‘mini-major’ they’ve more than paid their dues at this point and as long as they resist the same Icarus temptation that befell New Line, then good luck to them.
I just hope that Lionsgate can stay competitve and healthy enough to keep themselves from being snapped up by another larger studio.
Ali is awesome, tough, on it, scrappy and this hire sends a clear signal to the town that Lionsgate is all ‘growns up’.
