Gwyneth Paltrow was previously handled by CAA. She left after appearing in a series of critically and/or financially disappointing movies until Marvel’s Iron Man, and every tenpercentery has been pursuing her for months. Signing a major Academy Award-winning thesp is hard as hell these days for any agency. But I have no doubt that Jacobs can do for Paltrow what she did for Johnny Depp because, like Depp, Paltrow has real talent. The actress continues to be managed by Aleen Keshishian of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
