Franken has an uphill battle heading into the final week. The latest Rasmussen has him down 4% and the state’s leading newspaper endorsed Coleman, with independents and third party candidates breaking for Coleman apparently breaking for Coleman as well.
Time will tell but it isn’t looking good for the funnyman….

This is certainly a vast improvement over the slapped-together response to Michael J. Fox’s ad in support of embryonic stem cell research, that featured Jim Caviezel intoning in Aramaic, Patricia Heaton and some football players seemingly speaking from prison (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2006/10/25/jim-caviezel-patricia-he_n_32479.html). Hollywood Republicans are clearly putting some money where their mouths are, or at least a modicum of production value, if the progress between those ads is any indication. As to the substance: Go Al!!

These people probably have first hand experience in Al’s douche-baggery. He treats people under him like shit.

Al is a D-list actor, but a B-list comedy writer and a former C/B-list talk radio host.

Ahhh, I get it. So because it’s not “A-lister” Leonardo DiCaprio and his ilk whining about the environment, these people’s opinion is irrelevant because of their lack of influence in Hollywood. It’s wonderful to see the degree to which Hollywood elites simply cannot resist taking jabs at the few people who disagree with them. Precisely what letter “list” do you have to be on before stating your opinions is acceptable if you’re not a liberal?
I love this, Non-Elitist … it should be carved in stone.

What the hell is a Robert Davi? John Ratzenberger seems to have been playing himself when he played Cliffy as did Victoria Jackson when she played a dumb blond. Now let me see Stephen Baldwin? Oh yes now I remember, he’s the Baldwin with no talent whatsoever; nice bunch of F listers to pay attention to.

D list actors?
How about just Actors..
At any given time most actors are out of work…
liberal and Conservatives all go thru it.
To be trashing actors because they are not at the moment in a hit movie or TV show is rather tacky of you Ms Finke.

I thought it was a joke that anyone would consider voting for Al Franken. The guy is the world’s biggest schmuck. No Franken, You’re NOT Good Enough, You’re NOT Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People DON’T Like You.

Laugh all you want but looking at the boxoffice one could say the D-Dud List would include George Clooney, Leo DiCaprio, Ed Norton, Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Josh Brolin, and all the others who have bombed out big time lately and probably will continue to do so. So if they haven’t reached the D-List they will soon regardless of all the liberal butt kissing they do. Maybe if they spend as much time learning how to act as they do mouthing off their liberal pewkings and conservative bashing they might do better at the boxoffice and get off the D-Dud list.

Politics and this video apart, I hate the notion of “D-list actors”. Some so-called “D-list actors” are better actors than “A-List” stars.
Robert Davi is very appreciated in France. He’s one of the faces we’re always please to see in a series, in a movie, in a tv-movie or a direct-to-video.
well that certainly applies to Sarah Palin, don’t it?
Al Franken has got more brain-power in his toenail clippings than
Palin does in her whole moose-shootin’ body.
dork.

Davi’s been one of my favorite actors for years – from Die Hard through Wiseguy and up to Profiler he’s been a reliable supporting character actor, and always a pleasure to see on television.
Didn’t find out he was a republican until the one/two punch of him narrating the McCain video for the convention and appearing in ‘A Republican Christmas Carol’.
I assumed I would think less of him as an actor because I’m such a left-wing nut, but I was recently watching his Wiseguy arc, and it didn’t bother me in the least.
Guess that means it’s safe to go back and watch Cheers.
Condescending libs are now gleeful, but it is up to US to make these “actors” go back to being waiters or gophers for the local Hollywood magnates that they blow to get “discovered”. And if they speak out of line, well as the Billy Joel sone says, “Say Goodbye to Hollywood”…
Franken is an obnoxios, vulgar, piece of human debris.
There is not a septic tank filty enough for him to inhabit.
As far as Leonardo goes, as long as he keep flying around in his private jet and lives in a Hollywood mansion, he can kiss my *ss!
Franken for Senate is a joke. Not my choice, but hey, it’s a free country. If he wins fairly, it speaks mainly about Minnesotans.
Democrats stealing the election for Franken OTOH, is a felonious & a damnable offense against democracy.

It’s cheap of Nikki to diss the so-called D-Listers. But if Minnesota wants Al, fine. They wanted Jesse Ventura too. I suppose if Nicole Richie moved there, she could be their next congresswoman.
This guys more like on the x list.
Isn’t he the ex actor guy slinging hash at the old Hollywood diner on Sunset? ha!
Who gives these schmucks a mouth piece.

Al Franken was a no talent comedian (if that’s what you call what he tried to do). When he finally figured out his so-called career was going nowhere, which he should have realized from the beginning, he must’ve thought “Since I have no talent and my career has seriously tanked…what can I do? I got it! I’ll run for political office. How hard can it be?”
Now that the election is over, this smarmy, arrogant, obnoxious, talentless, and useful idiot is determined to drag the electoral process through the proverbial mud.
You have to ask yourself: what are his qualifications? What has he done? What credentials does he present that would merit his holding the office?
Think of him as Al Franken-stein because his taking office would be a mockery of all that is right as well as a monstrosity.

I think Stephen Baldwin and his rightwing Jesus freak nutbag weirdos should shut the hell up. While Hollywood is full of phonies & hypocrites- look at the way that they won’t dare criticize Israel or its occupation- it nevertheless is entitled to free speech. However, I believe that Baldwin and his fanatical friends should be watched carefully as they want to deny so many rights to others- plus their support for waterboarding!!!
