Just reading the story on the yanked SNL sketch, why am
I not surprised. When it’s time to slame conservative
candidates, SNL is at the head of the line with even
funny, but sarcastic satire. Now someone has created
a slam on some heavy liberal hitters and mysteriously,
the SNL sketch is “yanked.” What gives here?
I hate to think that the adage “liberals have no sense
of humor,” is true, but you can’t deny the obvious.
Gone now is the SNL sketch and who knows what sort of watered down version NBC (the National Barak Channel), has approvingly censored for their neophyte messiah.

How can honesty be sued…this skit was a comedic replica of exactly what happened. What was not funny was Pelosi, Barney Frank and S. Hoyer laughing the night this bail out was signed…they had a good reason…the joke is on us…the American people, at least SNL’s version actually made me laugh, when I seen it on the real C-Span I was not smiling, I was trying to connect with as many people as I could to put a petition together for TERM LIMITS. These congressional criminals MUST GO…Term limits are needed and wanted and that is not a joke.
Comedy is comedy and everything’s fair game. Republicans and Democrats need to all grow a better sense of humor and realize that we are all to blame for every problem in this country, either through action or omission.
This finger points and back patting on both sides is juevenial and baseless when you consider what’s at stake right now.

I call BS. SNL puts those lines, and worse, in many of their skits, never have they had to pull a skit to be “edited” before. Soros or Immelt (GE parent company of NBC) made a call, IMO.

Well, It looks like the “Dark Overlord” Soros & his pals the Sandlers couldn’t take the heat. Funny, because they get such a kick out of going after the conservatives. Aside from poking fun at Barney Frank’s speech impediment and implying that Pelosi doesn’t like black people, this skit is a straightforward bash on capitalism and conservatism.
Wouldn’t expect anything else from SNL though.

I’m surprised and a bit disappointed that the SNL people caved in to threats by quickly removing this ARTISTIC skit which if I’m not mistaken is protected by Constitutional right to freedom of speech just like all their other controversial skits.
Finally there is two sides to a story! No wonder they had to pull it, it was too close to the truth except for Bush having an extra chromosome. The bailout debate reminds me of the Monty Python’s skit ” I’m here for an argument.” The Dems say, no it isn’t when in fact the two people running fannie and freddie are sitting as the party’s biggest donors and on O’s campaign staff.

Sorry Nikki but edited versions were also pulled off the net. After NBC deleted the comments, the old rule about the cover-up being worse than the crime kicked in. They went beyond just being in the tank for the Dems and got caught being hypocritical censors. Now they are furiously backpedaling trying to make it all look innocent. Al Franken is telling Minnesota voters his comedy days are over and yet he’s writing anti-McCain material for SNL.
Joe Biden makes mistake after mistake (Syria and Hezbollah, Pakistan missle range, the constitution, dangerous vice-presidents ((Aaron Burr, anyone?)) and SNL completey white-washes it. All that matters is Palin shooting wolves from helicopters (something only the Alaskan f&g dept have done to cull packs).
Tina Fey uses a spot-on impersonation that also happens to be intellectually dishonest to skewer her weekly, McCain is also ridiculed at the behest of a Dem Senate candidate…..all the while Obama/Biden get a pass, Fey even goes on the Emmys and declares her hate for ‘that lady’……
