I’m late with this (sorry, personal biz); nevertheless, who doesn’t love classic TV?

Henry’s very good.
Wow. Just when I thought he couldn’t make anything worse than “The Da Vinci Code…”
Very funny. But, howcome Andy Griffith is greenscreened? It’s kind of spooky.
What a waste. Ron Howard simply couldn’t make his endorsement without stating “I’ve voted for Republicans before” or without morphing back into the more conservative roles of his past. Yuk. Sorry, Ron, your obsession with Obama just places you amongst the rest of the robotic Hollywood left. Since you apparently can’t come to terms with it, seek help.
Very cute, Opie!
“Sorry, Ron, your obsession with Obama just places you amongst the rest of the robotic Hollywood left. Since you apparently can’t come to terms with it, seek help.”
Guy does one 3-minute video and he’s “obsessed.” Since you don’t like it, I guess that places you amongst the robotic sheeple that look for each and every excuse to bash the “Hollywood left.”
Not so savvy, dude. You and Crystal Diane should get a room.
Thank you to Ron Howard, Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler (The Fonz still rules!), really, for this wonderful moment.
And thanks to you Nikki.
Is it just me, or do I find it disturbingly ironic that this video made me kind of cringe while the “Wassup” guys’ Obama video on the other post actually made me laugh out loud?
Although I do agree with “AD/30R Fan” that Winkler acquits himself nicely.
Why are these celebs (who haven’t set foot in the real world in decades) feel compelled to announce who they intend to vote for? Who gives a fuck? What you do in the voting booth is a private matter. What next? These same celebs issuing press releases to tell us of their latest bowel movement? The least this shit can do is turn off half your prospective audience. In Howard’s case, a stupid thing to do considering he’s got a political movie coming out very soon that has bomb written all over it.

Eh, truthfully I didn’t find much humor in the “Wassup” sequel.
I prefer the Howard piece. Even though it had some shoddy narrating from Mr. Howard
Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to know that Sheriff Taylor and Opie aren’t old-time southern racists and don’t have a problem voting for a black man, but when it comes to political ideology, I guess I always figured the characters of Mayberry and Mayberry itself–vintage small town America–were surely more representative of conservative values (okay, mine) than liberal ones. I love “The Andy Griffith Show” and this video just doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies of nostalgia due to the unpleasant juxtaposition.
I always knew Ron had grown up to be a liberal, but I was surprised and disappointed to see Andy’s endorsement. This doesn’t mean I still don’t have respect for both of them, I just wish we agreed on as many things as I imagined we did.
How is voting FOR a Black man not racist? Only a racist assumes that voting against a Black man is racism. It’s also arrogant, as you have to assume that the people doing it are like you, and “unelighted”.
You don’t “grow up” to be a liberal. You are indoctrinated in Marxism, and then become a liberal. As we all know, that is code for Marxist.
Reasons Hollywoodsters will vote for Obama, in order of importance:
1. He’s Black
2. He’s “a clean Black”
3. I want to keep my job in Hollywood.
Courage and Vision? The only candidate who has demonstrated those traits his entire life is John McCain. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. I think it is a huge warning sign that America’s enemies and the Hollywood left wants Obama elected. A man who has a consistent track record of associating with some incredibley unsavory people: a rabid anti-American and anti-semite, Rev. Jeremiah Wright; a self-proclaimed anarchist, leftist and terrorist, William Ayers; a crooked businessman and slum lord named Antoin “Tony” Rezko and lets not forget everyone’s favorite racist, anti-semite, anti american, Nation of Islam’s Minister Louis Farrakhan.
What shocks me the most about the Hollywood left is how quickly they are able to swep these associations under the carpet. Can you imagine the outcry if John McCain had David Duke to tea? The hypocrisy is staggering. I will never be able to enjoy a rerun of “The Andy Griffith Show” or “Happy Days” again.
Aw c’mon, it was funny.
And this is from someone who thinks that the media has spent more time doing critical reporting of Joe the Plumber than Barack Obama.
Well, I guess Obama inherited his Teflon(tm) from Ronald Reagan…

Mark, as McCain’s poll # & his campaign platform sink to ever lower levels, your posts get all the more pathetic & shrill.
The only racist I’m noting here is YOU. Deflect that anyway you like, but by listing the reasons anyone is voting for or against Senator Obama is because of his race IS RACIST!
I’m voting for Senator Obama because his campaign & his views are signify a change in the political landscape I respect.
I’m not voting for Senator McCain because his views are a reflection of the last 8 years that have brought this country to financial & ideological ruin.
& I just can’t bring myself to vote for anyone who uses the slur “g**ks” when referring to Asians.
You’re obviously not intelligent enough to make a decision based on rational assessments.
So how would you know these so called “reasons”?
Since you live in San Diego & rant incessantly from your Ramona double wide shows you’re just a mere failed Hollywood wannabe who doesn’t know anyone in the business.
The fact that a black man who is obviously your superior in every way is going to be POTUS just exacerbates that.
BTW, what does “unelighted” mean? Is that 1 of your imaginary words from your imaginary intellect?
