I’m told that well-liked Jeff Freedman, Paramount’s EVP of business affairs and operations who was heavily involved in Paramount Vantage, is heading soon to CAA to work closely with the general counsel on legal and business affairs. Bryan Lourd has been trying to snag him for months but Freedman was bound by a contract.

Jeff is and always has been someone that treats his staff with respect and actually acknowledges them as human beings. That being said, i havent been around him for a lifetime but that has been my experience with him over the last two years. best wishes to Jeff and of course the KH and BL are making a strong move.
I went to law school with Jeff. He’s always been one of the good guys and a total mensch. Good for him.
Wonder how Jeff likes the taste of babies…
Just another suit lawyer. no big whoop. replaceable (obviously)
In addition to being one of the smartest execs in the business, Jeff Freedman is probably the nicest guy in all of Hollywood. This is absolute coup for CAA.
Agree with all the POSITIVE comments. He is a great son!
Jeff is a notoriously tough negotiator, but he has a smile that could fix America’s energy crisis.
He is sweet, warm, and bubbly, like champagne that has been microwaved for too long, or maybe like a bubble bath that someone accidentally dumped a bunch of sugar in.
The point is, he is a great guy and this is a brilliant hire for CAA. On the other hand, he dyes his hair red, which is suspicious.
Who’s gonna laugh at the raunchy teen sex comedies. We are lost. LOST!
Goodbye, Jeffrey.
We grew up with Jeff and think he’s going to be a rock star addition to CAA.
