• Could she be trying to appeal to a younger, more hip audience? Look at what has occured during Bush’s 8 years – two wars, the horribe economy, 9/11, etc. etc. etc. Do we really want these two to continue the insanity? Try the Cartoon Network.

• What will be more interesting is to see what the ratings are. Letterman’s were up for the McCain appearance. Palin has been having huge draws at rallies 20,000+ people lining up from early in the morning. There is a lot of interest in her.

  I will be interested to hear the audience reception of her.

  McCain got applause in unexpected places during the Alfred Smith dinner – and not just clapping, but verbal assent. In a room full of Manhattan Democrats.
