A repugnant man who will not be missed in the world of agenting. Good riddance.
There will be a Bourne IV? Can’t wait.
These movies are amazing! Matt Damon is so damn good as Bourne.
Bourne is a commercial success, but am I the only one who finds the movies mostly just hype and flash choreographed shaky cam fight scenes?
michael dobrofsky
These films are more than just flash. I’ll admit that the shaky cam is a point of contention, but they are truly great movies, from identity to ultimatum.
While some will (understandably) be hesitant of the shaky cam, Damon’s performance as Bourne is truly something to admire. Just watch the films. Watch his eyes. It’s a great, dare i say in an action film, performance.
These films ain’t casablanca, but if they don’t get your pulse racing, nothing will.
I hope they make a couple more.
And given that every fan of the series loved Ultimatum, you can expect HUGE results for the fourth film. HUGE!
I’ve worked with Ben for years and the best thing I can say about him is he is a political animal. Look at his track record- he signs clients and then sits on they’re career until they disappear into oblivion and all their heat is gone…whatever happened to Clive Barker anyway?
beyond the Bourne series, Ludlum’s work has tons of material to mine for feature adaptations.
not my thing, and now this shaky-camera-no-story style of filmmaking has now tainted Bond as well – James Bourne, shaken not stirred…
Fuck Ben Smith. That guy is a horrible agent and an asshole.
He’ll be out of there in less than two years.
ICM gets the better end of this deal.
This is great,
Start using useing heavy metal music
To all the naysayers – you’re obviously just jealous of this INCREDIBLE opportunity for someone who’s grinded his ASS off for fifteen years to be an instrumental part of Hollywood history. To come on as prexy of a “start up” company that’s already grossed over a billion dollars for franchise alone of the catalog?!?! Pretty impressive. This is what it’s all about — and let’s be honest, there isn’t much good news to be had lately, don’t you wish you were Ben Smith today?
I’ve sat in meeting after meeting with Ben and left thinking he was the only one in there with his head on straight! If anyone can keep this franchise running and push it through it’s him. Maybe I’ll be sending him my resume soon…..
Ben smith is more evil than Skelator! The only positive comments type here were by Natzis follow the Hitler of the Hollywood.
