If New Line want to survive within the all consuming, ‘resistance is futile’, film factory that is Warners then they should be concentrating on films like He’s Just Not That Into You.
Warners have never and will never be able to produce a comedy or a film aimed at a female audience to save their lives and that’s exactly what New Line have done well over the last few years.
I understand that Summit need to cut their cloth accordingly when it comes to budgets they give their movies compared to the bigger studios but in saying that….
Could they at least make their films not look
failed pilots for the CW. Seriously, Twilight (though enormously profitable I’m sure) and Push both look like they should be on after 90210.
Because another flaccid RomCom is the type of film people want apparently.
The movie was great. Every female in the world needs to see it so they can realize how ridiculous they are. An A+ in my book
Promotion! Promotion! Promotion! Anyone can sell a turd, just give it an airbrush vanilla glamour sheen and you’re gold!
Just saw “Coraline.” It is amazing, wondrous and will make you feel like a kid again. Four stars.
I’m not surprised. I even kind of want to go see He’s Just Not That Into You. Kind of.
