So…Will Smith is being cast in Transformers 3?
I just checked and July 1st, 2011 is a Friday. Be just a bit more greedy and go for June 29, 2011. That is a Wednesday and the start of a nice long six day weekend. Guess they are saving the date for Will Smith.
why why WHY???????????????????? Transformers isn’t even that good… just another dumb popcorn movie with explosions.
So wait, does that mean Earth survives the second movie? SPOILER ALERT!
Which, of course, will become Wednesday, June 29. Why does every 4th of July weekend movie announce as a Friday and then switch to that Wednesday? They know they’re gonna move the date, so just announce it as a Wednesday from the outset. Why is that so difficult?
I thought I heard Michael Bay say he would do the third one, but wanted a break after part 2 is released. If it’s on another 2-year interval, this won’t give the filmmakers hardly ANY time away from the franchise. As a Transformers geek growing up, I’d much rather they give it 3 years instead of rushing it to maximize $$$ quicker.
