I’M SO SICK OF RESULTS GETTING SKEWED WITH OPPoRTUNITY. Women are not being fired because of sexism. And anonrighter, the reason why the calendar section shows more films written by men is BECAUSE MORE MEN ARE WRITING MOVIES! Have you gone ot a pitch festival in your life, where aspiring writers of all stripes come to pitch their scripts. It’s mostly guys. So if mostly guys ware writing, then mostly films by male writers are going ot be made. The proportion of women writers to films by female writer’s being made is fairly simliair to the male side. Jesus you people just love to twist stats around to make you look like the victim. How about this– most elementary school teachers and hospital nurses are women– whta’s up with that? Is that sexism?!!!!! No! Because we guys understand there’s more women applying for these jobs. Use your freakin brain, be OBJECTIVE, and stop making it seem like there’s a glass cieling when there isn’t. Within this message baord, people clai,ing sexism go on to concede lists of names of women who have made it. And you knwo what? Ive been in plenty of offices dominated by women who have a bias against men so take your outdated excuses for why women happen to get fired (just like guys) somewhere else. EQUALITY IS ABOUT OPPURTUNITY NOT RESULTS.
