I can confirm that the pilots officially being picked up by CBS for new series include: THE GOOD WIFE, MIAMI TRAUMA, THREE RIVERS, NCIS SPINOFF, UNDERCOVER BOSS (reality), and ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE. These shows are being alerted this AM, but not told by CBS if scheduled for fall or midseason.
I understand that returning shows won’t be notified by CBS until tomorrow.

What about the Carolla show?
What happened to “waiting to die” and “ace in the hole” with Adam Corolla? I heard both of these were picking up some heat.
Too bad about Three Rivers. I was really looking forward to another Moonlight fan meltdown.
So US attorney is dropped ?
It’s look like its a go for ‘Three Rivers’. Us Moonlight/Alex fans are all excited that he will be the lead in a new series. We still miss Moonlight but are looking forward to his new projects. Thanks for getting the news out!
It will be so nice to Alex again. Thanks for letting us know Nikki.
The new stuff sounds hugely, wonderfully…dull.
I predict at least 75% of the new pickups are toast before December hits (unless they are midseason, naturally). Betting The Good Wife will be among the first. Along with either/or of the medical dramas, as they will cancel each other out. (And unlike some here, I find Alex O’Laughlin, while nice looking, unbelievably low energy – so I predict it will be Three Rivers that sinks between the two.)
Good luck, CBS.
Jesus, these Moonlight/Alex fans are too rabid for words. I expect this kind of fanaticism on, well, fan sites… but on an industry blog like DHD? In the immortal words of Seth n Amy, “REALLY?”
Has anyone heard anything about Undercover Boss???
I’m happy about 3 Rivers gettting the go due to Alex and Carol Barbee, who’s the producer and worked on another cancelled CBS favorite of mine Jericho.
But seriously, 2 Medical shows? I would have rather seen the spot given to Bruckheimer’s Miami Trauma given to Ed Bernero’s Washington Field. That show sounded way cooler.
hearing ace in the hole still in contention for mid season….but no news until later this week or next?
Carolla is talented but he can’t act – the pilot which I saw was hit and miss. I hope CBS brings Gary Unmarried back – Mohr and Marshall are great together and the show has terrific joke writing! Christine & Gary — coming back or not?
Guess we Moonlight fans got our wish, and Alex is the man AGAIN !!! I am truly excited about Three Rivers and I know he will not disappoint any person out there willing to watch the show. Of course in CBS had renewed Moonlight the pessimistic new viewers of Alex’s would not be so pessimistic at all. Good for you Alex.
I hear “accidentally on purpose” will be for fall season! Go Jenna…we missed you on tv!
I am so happy to see Three Rivers on the list. Alex O’Loughlin deserves to be on screen in a regular schedule!
I hope Alex O’Loughlin has hired good bodyguards.
Seriously, you fans are all a little nuts!
Thank you, Nikke, for posting the great news about Three Rivers. Last year your news about Moonlight being cancelled pretty much broke our hearts so it’s so wonderful that this year you were the first to tell us that CBS is picking up Three Rivers. So happy that CBS recognizes what a talent they have in Alex O’Loughlin. They’ve made his fans very, very happy.
Robert,LMAO!!!! That is soo true!!
The NCIS spinoff is going to be named NCIS: Los Angeles. Really? How un-original. Personally, I would have centered the show closer to San Diego. I mean, it’s not like there aren’t a monster number of Navy/Marine Corps bases located there. Oh well. I will be watching, though.
I hope Alex O’Loughlin has hired good bodyguards.
Seriously, you fans are all a little nuts!

Hee!
A little?
Then the Grand Canyon is kinda small.
Does the Jenna Elfman’s new sitcom bump Adam Carolla’s “Ace in the Hole” from the fall schedule?!? What a travesty if it’s so.
