• Wait…so GLEE is starting in the fall with So You Think You Can Dance, being benched when Idol returns and then returning post-Idol later in the spring? That doesn’t make a lot of sense. Freshman shows which take long breaksi n the middle of their runs tend to be forgotten over the break (see: Life on Mars, Jerhico, Heroes, which saw its ratings dip after the first hiatus, and all the new shows that were impacted by the writer’s strike.) At this stage, it would be wise for Fox to air a few repeats of Glee here and there to keep it going or at the very least to air the second part of its season in January and start Human Target there after Glee runs out of episodes.

• I’d STILL like to know if WB is interested in rebooting a Terminator show at some point or if they’ve completely given up on the concept of a Terminator TV series.

  Could you find out for us, Nikki? I think a lot of TSCC fans would like to know.

  TSCC is dead as a doornail, but I think WB might still be interested in having a Terminator series IF the show could be redesigned to be more “Terminator” and be profitable as well as a PR device between Terminator movies.

• No Sarah Connor. Plus they’re keeping the idiotic and misogynistic Dollhouse? No more Fox for me–ever. Why bother? Anything decent gets yanked so why get involved? So, I’m going to go read a book now. Maybe I should thank them — they have inadvertently improved my quality of life by sucking so much.

• Dollhouse is on because all the other stuff that could have been put on stunk. Fox is buying time until mid-season.

  Reportedly, Fox is making huge cuts, perhaps filming in Canada with a vastly reduced cast. Maybe each show will be Eliza Duskhu dancing around in her underwear.

  This is just “plug the leaks” until Fox can get their usual broad-appealing shows back on track.

  House, 24, American Idol … and Dollhouse. One of these is not like the other.

  Dollhouse cancelled or moved to FX midseason.

  Moonlight is actually a remake of FOREVER KNIGHT! Joel Silver bought the show from Sony & tweeked it just a tad– some of the episode names are still the same (”Fever”, “Out Of The Past”)! Don’t let anyone tell you different.
  Dollhouse is implausible, misogynistic crap!
  This is definitely a penalty move.
  They’ll honor the contract then cancel it midseason.
  Firefly? Because no future should be w/out a hooker w/ a heart of gold?

• It might just be business for Fox, but it’s personal for us. We invest hours out of our lives and $$ out of our pockets on their product; you’d think that repeatedly underestimating and alienating your audience would be a lousy long-term business practice. Do they actually HAVE a vision, or is their ‘vision’ just to go with whatever short-term money grab they can get?
