News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch told financial analyststs on a confereence call this week that “it is increasingly clear that the worst is over… There are emerging signs in some of our businesses that the days of precipitous declines are done and that revenues are beginning to look healthier.” Similarly upbeat statements have come from other Big Media bosses like Disney’s Bob Iger, Viacom’s Phillippe Dauman, and just today CBS’ Les Moonves.
