Signing clients who were dropped from these places are not considered “sign from.” Nice attempt from Gersh though.
More people for them to screw up
And Miley Cyrus makes more than ALL of them combined. Go Gersh.
Yeah Right – i don’t agree. These are good signs and it shows that this will be more than a three agency town. Super aggressive on Gersh’s part and i hope to see more from them
And they might get one of them some work too.
Sounds like DROP CENTRAL to me…
…Winona Ryder…terrific…I’d rather find new talent that isnt a complete mess.
I’m with WHO CARES!
Long list of names of people who never seem to bother to work, or are merely average on the odd times they do bother, so not much cred. in signing them
Also, Dude, the preferred nomenclature is not “drop”.
“amicably parted ways”
Sounds like sour grapes comments posted by other agencies.
Of course recent events will be good for other agencies. Who wants to be another chicken crammed into the coop.
Can’t speak for the rest…but Missy P. wasn’t dropped – she left the agency months ago on her own accord.
put them all together in a little indi and you might have a wonderful film with lots of noms. i say great, I’m sure they’ll be more appreciated for their talent and gersh is a much better fit for these actors.
say what you will about her, but Winona suddenly got interesting in “The Informers.” Unlike everyone else in the time capsule, she actually got the 80′s and the vibe across. And, oh, wait, wasn’t she in that little movie called, “Star Trek” recently?
Hope this means Winona will be getting some better roles. I miss seeing her on the big screen!
don’t know him, never met him, but alan tudyk is good in everything i’ve ever seen him in.
well that doesn’t bode well does it. the only one really working is sam waterston. i guess if endeavor couldn’t get marc cherry to keep gale then he wasn’t going to be bringing any money in for them. i hope something happens good for him out of this.
Gale Harold wasn’t dropped by Endeavor. He followed his agent to Gersh back in April, I believe it was.
“And, oh, wait, wasn’t she in that little movie called, “Star Trek” recently?”
All of how many seconds again?
gale harold needs to be with someone who will give him a shot. he has been shown in parts but he needs a good deal. so i say way to go gale.
Alan Tudyk is a really talented character actor. He’ll have a long, lucrative career.
wow. that’s a long press release. thanks
I don’t pretend to know anything about the agency itself, but Gersh can’t do any worse for Olivier Martinez than his former agency did. They took a foreign actor with depth already proven, particularly in Europe but also here in the US, and cast him in turkeys like SWAT and Blood & Chocolate. If that’s the kind of junk they were procurring for him, no wonder he’s been rather idle lately.
I’m just curious– why all these bitter sounding comments about Gersh Agency and Winona Ryder or… Are these people who Gersh dropped or people that Winona broke up with? You all sound so petty. If it bothers you so much to see who Gersh signed, don’t read the blog. It’s bizarre. You must have very little to do with your lives and you must feel extremely left out of the “club” for you to care… but please enlighten, if there is some terrific motive. Thanks. LAS
I often wondered that myself. What do these people do for work that they have so much time to sit around ill wishing specific agencies and actors. What small lives must they lead. I’m rather a fan of Winona… I can’t imagine why in God’s good name I’d care who represented her. I’m in masonry and I don’t announce it when I replace the girl up front who takes the bookings. Bizarre! Right on whoever said what they said
