• This news was making its rounds a day ago, but still fantastic news indeed. Futurama was one of the smartest shows on TV, which makes it surprising it lasted as long as it did on FOX.

• David X. Cohen (showrunner/EP) should be mentioned as well. He was the creative force behind the show since the pilot. He pitched the idea to Matt while a Co-EP on The Simpsons and he co-wrote the pilot.

• This is one of the only shows I can watch reruns over and over and not get tired of them. I smile at the huge Bender in the Rough Draft office whenever I walk by.

• Hooray!!! Futurama proves that animated sci fi/ comedy works! Each episode is hilarious and sometimes I actually learn some cool science stuff! I’m so glad it’s back from the dead!
