As his first order of business I hope he and Obama reinstate the Fairness Doctrine and put Limbaugh & Co. out of business for good. Did you see how Faux News falsely labeled that philandering SC governor as a Democrat? This is SOP for the fair and balanced liars at Fox. Of course, they will not issue an apology or a retraction because only reputable and credible news organizations feel compelled to do that.
Hey, I think we found the one guy in the country in favor of the Fairness Doctrine. Time for Drudge to break out the BIG siren!
“Reputable and credible news organizations” died out sometime in the 80s and were replaced by CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and several other papers of similar ill repute. Judith Miller, Ruth Shalit, Stephen Green, Jeff Gannon … the fatal blow was self-inflicted.
How will he give his acceptance speech with his tongue so far up Big Media’s ass?
Julius is the nicest guy. Met him several times in Miami during WAMI days. I heard this was happening – very excited for him.
pJ
I would prefer to see him reverse the policy that bans any and all fleeting obscenities. This policy effectively makes it impossible to broadcast live events. Theoretically it would also make it impossible to broadcast live news events for fear that a microphone might accidentally pick up someone saying a word that most of us use everyday but which the prudes from various organizations don’t think that people are adult enough to hear.
Too bad there will be no real “fairness” in the “fairness” doctrine like reinstalling Bobby Kennedy’s anti trust laws in order to return a healthful diversity in the producers talent pool in stead of big media that got Obama elected controlling everything. This is hypocritical at best. No more free market choices. Right Jeffery Imelt? 140 Bill to prop up that piece of shit network in exchange for being Obamas mouth piece.
Bring on the brain washing for our kids.
