News reports out of Riyadh that, for the first time in 3 decades, Saudis in the nation’s capital went to the movies. (The government had been shutting down movie theaters because they could lead to a mixing of the sexes and violate Islamic values. But this month men and children, but no women, were allowed to see a film: Menahi, produced by a company owned by royal tycoon Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.) Here’s what Late Night host Jimmy Fallon said about it: “For the first time in 30 years, Saudis are allowed to go to the movies this weekend. There’s a few movies to choose from: Turban Cowboy, The Taking of Hostages 1 2 and 3, He’s Just Not That Into You Driving, or Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail for Showing Her Ankles.”

Nikki, would you post jokes like this about Jews on your site?
Congrats to Jimmy Fallon and Nikki Finke for living down to Middle Eastern stereotypes about rude, ignorant and xenophobic Americans.
I can’t see how that sort of behaviour could possibly backfire… oh, wait.
So NOW Fallon is funny?
So it was Fallon, not Kimmel?
Yes! Post the Jew jokes! We need to laugh at ALL ethnicities!
Dear Arab Neighbor –
When women in Saudi Arabia permits women to have even a small portion of the rights ascribed to the men of its nation (and to adults of both sexes in any reasonable civilization) you can go ahead and criticize Ms. Finke for reprinting the very funny and painfully very ACCURATE musings of Mr. Kimmel.

LOL. Jimmy Fallon just upped his stock value with me.
Anyone that defends the horror that is Saudi Arabia or North Korea, or any other fascist regime, deserves ridicule 1000 times over. Bring on the penny pinching big nosed Jew jokes.
Spare us your outrage – Saudi Arabia is one of the most oppressive, anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-everything countries in the world. They execute people for the crime of being gay, and still chop the hands off robbers.
Google the cellphone video of a woman being beaten bloody with sticks on the street because she wasn’t dressed modestly enough for the virtue police.
Maybe he should have been really edgy and made fun of Prop 8 Mormons, they deserve it more than the poor Saudis.
Dear, There Goes the Neighborhood –
How does Turban Cowboy amount to an ACCURATE musing?
Criticizing Patriarchal Saudi society is one thing, but “turban cowboy” is just bigotry.
I love American moral outrage comments, especially after reading all about the fun tasering that occurs in the US and viewing some of the fun group activity pictures courtesy of your troops in Iraq.
Yeah, Saudi has its problems, but focus on yours and quit screwing up our side of the world.
