  • Arrgh, not another one. “Roger and Me” is the only interesting thing Moore has ever done but it appears his ego is as big as his, well, you know.

What Mikey doesn’t get is it is very hard to watch him on the big screen. Couple that with him whining about all things American and it makes him just not matter at all.

  • Love Moore, but I have to admit there was only one word that described my feelings about this teaser…WEAK!!!!!!!

  • In certain theatres around the country, as audiences watched it, they were being videotaped by people affiliated with the film, as theatre ushers, true to the teaser’s instructions, really did walk out amongst the patrons, with buckets in hand, wearing T-shirts with the slogan ‘Save our CEOs’.

Whether anyone actually put any money in the buckets is another thing…

I think Michael Moore and I are going to be on the same side on this one!

Rocky dear, quit boxing your head is really messed up…

  • The only reason I’d see is to watch the end credits. Just to see if he’d acknowledge all his funding sources for the film. ‘Cause you know he wouldn’t spend a dime of his own cash for it.

  • does anyone care about this self promoting clown any more, i know it’s become fashionable to bash the guy but…oh fuck it, i’m gonna bash him too. I can buy the argument that his films are biased polemic, and that’s fine – it’s the self serving inaccuracies and outright bullshit that bother me. And this is not coming from a drudge moron, but a liberal who really bought into this guy’s BS at first. On a purely commercial basis, sure, i’ll tip my hat to him but as a bringer of truth and justice….errrr…not so much.

  • Lots of flagpin yellow ribbon Republiturds here taking a break from watching Nascar (while their enlistment forms gather dust on the shelf) to slander a great American patriot who has done much to bring awareness to the many crimes and frauds perpetrated on the American people by nefarious corporations. Were all the men’s room stalls taken, boys? Keep tapping your feet for wholesome GOP family values. Give my regards to Larry Craig and Jeff Gannon. LOL

  • Wonder if he’ll pin any blame at all on the Obama administration? Didn’t Moore shout to the heavens that Obama would save us all? Is he gonna show how we were all bamboozled and our liberal agenda has been thrown under the bus in order to cowtow to his financial masters.

DADT? Nah, doesn’t have time. Abortion? Not his top priority. Single payer healthcare, oh no, wouldn’t want to piss off the insurance companies. Torture criminal action, oh shut up whiny liberals. Home owner aide, nah, fuck em! There’s much more important things, like making sure the banks and wall street guys don’t lose their moolahahaha!

Oh yeah, and taking over GM was a ’superhero’ move according to Mr. Moore. Dance with those that brung ya.

Let me know, Mike, when you’re ready to admit your mistake and I’ll shell out my $14 for ya.

  • This guy is just as biased (and equally revolting) as uber-conservative Ann Coulter. Some of the issues I agree with Moore on, but the problem I have with his documentaries is selective editing to villify his opponents and not showing the disadvantages of what he’s for (whether it’s gun control, universal health reform, etc.).

Documentaries themselves are by their somewhat biased (depending on who sees and interprets it), depending on their subject matter, but Moore takes it to an extreme by not including the uglier side of the things he’s for. Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady did a beautiful job showing that in “Jesus Camp” (which is indefinitely more horrifying and fascinating than any horror film in the past 10 years).

admit it, kids – what Moore tried to expose in Roger & Me links to what’s happening today.

take it with a grain of salt, but now you also have to take it as non-partisan…

…but ya know something? i don’t feel the need to hear Michael Moore tell us all about AIG/Stearns/etc. I’m pretty sure everyone gets the rub on the current economic disaster without Michael Moore clarifying things for us.

  • I think Rocky sums it up best when he says he is proud that he’s never seen any of Moore’s films. So what is your problem with the man, Rock? If you don’t know his work or what he’s saying, how can you condemn it? Willful ignorance is not a virtue and it’s no basis for an argument. I hope to God you don’t represent the average American, because if you do, we’re all fucked.

The sum total of your argument is that Moore is a communist (based on…? The movies you never watched?) and that he’s fat. Wow. Strong stuff. You’ve got the makings of a great politician. Or at least a pundit — just repeat what other people tell you as forcefully as possible. God forbid you should look at someone’s work and judge it on its own merits.

  • What can we learn from watching Michael Moore promoting his “still untitled Bailout-documentary”?

    Branding.

He could just call his film “Bailout” which makes the most sense, since that’s what lots of people call it. But he doesn’t. This way he achieves two things:
    a) reinforces his brand and
    b) ppl have to talk about the issue of the film. That’s genius.

As some have observed, when it comes to this topic, there isn’t a divide between left and right, but between classes. Looks like they’re right on.

Moore has three documentaries placing among the top ten on the all-time documentary chart including #1 – nothing to sneeze at.

  • The comments on here are so incredibly strange. Apparently it’s arrogant and offensive to make a movie about the global financial crisis and how it came to be as a result of greedy corporations?

Rocky, how can you say you’ve never seen one of his movies and then call his communist and say he needs a brain transplant?

Bailout Chick, what on Earth are you talking about? Or are you one of those precious overly sensitive beings who thinks just because somebody has money that they can’t think there’s anything wrong in the world? Jesus christ, what a piss weak line of thought.

You people make me sick. You’re probably not a size 2, either.

  • Does Michael Moore hire union crew members? Nope. Does Michael Moore, despite his millions, offer his workers medical insurance? Nope. He gets unpaid interns to fetch his mail. I enjoy watching him fail ala SICKO. Keep making your non-union movies Michael, and complaining about ‘The Man’ whilst you skim the cream off the top for yourself.

  • He does what every liberal does. He deals in half truths and is intellectually dishonest. His agenda is to trick you, not tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. After all, facts might get in the way of what in this case, is a bad story.

  • So, Rocky… you admit you’ve never seen a Moore film, then criticism HIM for being inaccurate with the phrase “After all, facts might get in the way…” Wow, you’re totally lacking in self-awareness, aren’t you? Here’s a little piece of advice (one that’s equally valid for the Right and the Left): IF YOU DON”T ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT, YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN’T TALK ABOUT IT.(And, speaking as someone who has seen and read his work: Moore was at his best when he SHOWS us rather than TELLS us, and does it with humour and satire rather than lecturing… which is why TV NATION- a series produced at one point for FOX!- is still the best thing he’s done. If he goes back to THAT sort of approach, he’ll become relevant again…)

  • “Bill O’Vibrator”, 0/10…D.H. usually draws a higher breed of troll than the likes of you. If you look @ recent facts, the Big 3-a mere generation later-is in the middle of The Worker’s Paradise Moore lobbied for in “Roger & Me”…and it’s an f’in black hole! From the Big 3 to Roger Penske to Roush-Fenway, Detroit’s fortunes are tied a lot closer to NASCAR than an ideological mouth breather like yourself even realizes. Read “Rivethead” by Moore’s bona fide from the assembly line, Ben Hamper, to find out how the UAW shot itself in the foot.(Moore had the juice to get any project he wanted onscreen-but never helped to set up a deal for a great book by one of his best friend. Why? Because it contradicts nearly everything he claims) but remind yourself not to pronounce the words out loud. M

Can someone tell me the last time there was a movie teaser for a film that didn’t yet have a title?

  • The fact that he got this much publicity on a teaser trailer- which is all this was- a T.E.A.S.E.R is commendable. Just think how much press he’s going to get when he announces the highly-anticipated title and then the windfall of publicity from final teaser that will be released with actual footage from the movie. He’s actually a marketing genius. Brilliant

  • To CST and all of you other libs.

I actually read. I read books, magazines, newspapers from all sides. I am a political junkie. I am what you liberals need to be. Educated. I am sad to say I have even visited Moore’s websites and watched the drivel come from his mouth for many years on political talk shows. I have seen his movies be absolutely repudiated by other documentaries giving the counterpoint. So unlike you liberal, elite, never done anything in your life, cool aid drinking, government reliant, global warming ass wipes I read more than a headline. I don’t believe the mainstream media. I don’t believe politicians. Right or left. I don’t believe Michael Moore or Al Gore. I believe in facts and by the looks of it and what i’ve seen, Michael Moore appears to have eaten all of the facts that were supposed to be in his movies. Yes, another fat joke. I can’t help it.

  • I might actually have a bit of respect for Moore if he actually makes sure he mentions CLINTON, BUSH, AND OBAMA’s collusion with the banker elites. You know, Goldman Sachs has either supplied the White House with Federal Reserve chairmen, Secretaries of Treasury, or advisers for ALL 3 administrations. Bush’s second cousin George Herbert Walker IV works for Goldman Sachs, and a Goldman Sachs crew runs the Obama administration!!!

Destroying the US knows no partisanship. You are either an elitist or you are a slave, there is no Left/Right. Hope that makes it into your movie Moore…
