There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at Deadline Hollywood Daily to bring you a better, bigger, and (as usual) ballsy news and analysis website. But it’s also going to take time away from my 24/7 reporting for a few weeks. There already have been some missed stories. And some hours with no posts. And a lot of technical woes. But I’ve given myself permission occasionally to go AWOL and deal with the nuts and bolts behind the website during August — in order to unveil the new DHD after Labor Day weekend. Thanks for your patience.

Can’t hardly wait Nikki. We want juicy stories…keep them coming!
Please forward this note to Arthur, just extend the downtime to forever.
Hey, Nikki -
How about some formatting? I’d love to see headlines and maybe a first paragraph on the stories, then given the option to click through to the rest.
It’s a pain to scroll through 200 Ben Silverman stories or a real-time recreation of every panel at ComiCon to get to some more of the meaty posts.
Think newspaper as opposed to blog.
But keep up the great work.
Disagree with Tim. Keep full posts on the page, people hate having to click through. And, one step further, GIVE US FULL RSS FEEDS!!
P.S. Nikki – Find some recent computer science grad to do your tech stuff so you can concentrate on the news. You won’t even have to pay the intern if you don’t want to. No need for you to be dealing with that stuff.
kind of a bummer BUT we understand
and i dont agree with the above comment, keep the site the way it is!
