• considering abate did big $ book deals for tracy morgan and tina fey, it would make sense for 3 arts to have him in house for the other clients. if abate can broker or “consult” on publishing deals as a manager, he’ll have chelsea handlers franchise at his disposal as well as other comedy peeps like poehler, rainn wilson, mindy kaling, always sunny in philly guys etc. the only question that remains is whether abate can bring his 4 person nyc operation into the mix and if 3 arts has the capital to support such a move…

• Abate used to walk around ICM NY as if he was the 2nd coming of Sam Cohn. yet he didn’t nearly have the class that Cohn had. which is not saying much. Abate was probably the only man in that entire office that I wanted to punch in the face.
