Another sepia-toned pic from sepia-infused Universal… Here’s the trailer for The Wolfman, about which there’s tremendous curiosity because its release date has been pushed back three times — from February 13th, 2009, to April 3rd, 2009, to November 6th, 2009, to now February 12th, 2010 — and re-shoots were done in May. On the trailer, Rick Baker’s transformative skills look as good as ever. This first trailer for The Wolfman will be attached to Inglourious Basterds in theaters Friday.

Trailer looks pretty good!
Why is there no full screen on your player, that really bites…
Very interested in this. It’s a remake, but it looks a helluva lot more exciting and lavishly produced than the teaser trailer for “Avatar” (which was a huge disappointment for someone following its development).
I know. Let’s mix Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” with “American Werewolf in London” and, hey presto, genius – we have the same old take on the same old mythology. Even better, Hollywood will swallow it. Because it can’t help but think within the same commercial box. It’s a Twitter town – followers following followers; creative sheep. In a town where everyone is as petrified as saying ‘yes’ as they are saying ‘no’, the end result is the tried and tested safe bets or tent-poles. The Wolfman clearly sunk its teeth into, and ravaged, originality a long, long time ago. But hey – “great production though”. Will the last original thinker who leaves Hollywood please turn out the lights..
Wow, this is looking really good, Hopkins and Weaving in one movie is always nice, and finally a good werewolf movie again! None of that lovey dovey stuff
This looks like a re-make of American Werewolf in London, only put through a CGI and dialogue grinder.
How anybody can express anticipation for this thing is beyond me, but then again, I didn’t see Battleship Earth.
Trailer looks pretty good!!
@Sir Eddie Cook ‘Will it make money? Of course not.’
You clearly have no idea how the movie industry works.
This movie will make a shed load of money regardless of how good it is… (it’s actually very good).
Do some of you even like movies?
Have never been interested in this topic before but will absolutely pay to see it.
As to those questioning why Uni made this in the first place, the logic goes something like this: if THE MUMMY can spawn a highly profitable franchise,(and if even VAN HELSING made a buck), just imagine if somebody remade an old horror film- BUT ACTUALLY MADE AN EFFORT TO BE A HALF-DECENT MOVIE. (Again, I’m highly sympathetic- but I have even less faith in modern audiences than they do.But don’t worry, with all the delays, re-shootings, and behind the scenes bait-and-switch, they may still be able to dumb it down enough…)
First Che Guevara, and now the Wolfman. I see Benicio Del Toro is not afraid of being typecast playing monsters…
