• Screenwritng is a garbage craft. Those who succeed have a high view of themselves as auteurs but rarely, if ever, has a completed screenplay been produced that did not reflect input from six or more people. Film making in general is not an true art form but rather another manifestation of commercial art; many people contribute to the final product. I wonder how many people read, then contributed, to A History of Violence? Would it’s screenwriter write an article thanking them for taking time to read his work?

• BB is a huge loss to WME. I can understand Dawn Saltzman, who was just an overpaid wallflower, but Bonnie can actually go out there and sign and close deals on her own.
