Don’t act surprise! Khloe and Lamar’s pretend wedding was so beautiful and will stand the test of time that 30-40 E! employees won’t mind at all to be relieved of their duties. It’s LOVE. Those 2 kids are made for each other and to think we are blessed to had the opportunity for them to let us be part of it. We are so lucky. Thank You E! Entertainment and of course Khloe and Lamar.
NOT!

I spent many years at E! Although Ted is very talented and a nice guy, he is

Nothing innovative comes out of marketing or programming. And talent – besides Ryan, who

Heard that this was not the first round and that they started quietly with layoffs about a month ago.

Salaaam Coleman should run. And run fast from that place.

They should run from her–soon. Style network is a little channel with no hits so what has she really done except suck up to management? Salaam Coleman is an empty suit–no creative talent and has produced absolutely nothing during her tenure.

They consolidated G4 under Digital and let the talented Mr. Krane go. Why would they give this to the yes man who runs (scared) in business develpment?

It was Comcast Entertainment Group, not just E. Around 40 executives and higher-ups were let go.

I heard that many of the layoffs were at G4–the network has never made money and had to get rid of staff there.

I hope no one from Chelsea Lately got layed off. Thats the best show on the network

Chelsea definitely is a sweetheart! I love her!

I’m positive that Chelsea’s show didn’t get touched.
Oh, and it also helps if your boss (Chelsea) is the live-in girlfriends of the head honcho (Ted Harbert).

I agree, they would save millions getting rid of this no talent child size man. He offers no value, anyone could do his job, so why don’t they give it to a lower paid more talented person, and get rid of the Seacrest diva.

They actually let the smartest people go (Josh Crain, some marketing folks, some new business exec). E stands for Excrement. Its a bunch of crappy re-runs with tired D list talent. Look at their website traffic (or lack of it) and horrendous marketing.

Were the G4 layoffs from on-air or the digital team only?

They need to lay off ken baker. he tried to bring a tmz style dept. to e! and it fails miserably. sending out paparazzi producers to try and capture d list celebs is what e! has come to. and of course he sleeps with his news bureau girls who are all prob under 25!
when u work at e! you’re underpaid, overworked and if you’re not blond and giving up the ass u get no where. how else do you explain someone being an intern one year and have an office bigger then many producers the next.
e needs total restructuring!

If Comcast is laying off from Digital, that explains how bad the E! Online Website has gotten since they changed their viewers in Mid-September. When I see a story on E! News Now, or see something from The Soup or Chelsea Lately, how come there is so much buffering interruptions when I see anything from these sites.
Believe me, E! Online is just like the network Comcast may be buying from General Electric…NBC, as in NOTHING BUT CRAP!

Get rid of Seacrest, he offer nothing to the programs he is on. Any one could do his job and do it far better than he has been doing it. They would save millions of dollars, instead of laying off most of your staff get rid of Seacrest and that would make the payroll for all of the staff that actually works and makes the company a better place.

Also get rid of Chelsea, she is not funny and just because she sleeps with the boss doen’t make her funny. She gets millions of dollars for her crap show, and yes it is crap, she isn’t funny and she is dull.

They can’t afford to pay staffers when all their resources go to the salaries of Seacrest and Handler. That’s why 90% of their workforce is comprised of 20-something bimbos and himbos who will slave away for peanuts.
