• Does anyone care? This just goes to show that the natpe market is an old holdover of the era of roger king and the booming days of syndication. Natpe is the winter market for Latin buyers who don’t make it to mip.

• OK, so let’s review this great move. NATPE has been loosing it’s base and attendence for years. The majors have reduced their floor space and have retreated to hotel suites. Vegas is a 45 minute flight or 3-4 hour drive from L.A. The indy station group market is almost gone, 250 stations are in financial trouble. And Rick thinks this is a great move? Get me what he is smoking. Oh yes, January is such a wonderful time to fly coast to coast, because the airlines are never late becasue of storms.
