This purports to be a parody of those vampire relationship projects proliferating now. I can’t decide if this is funny or lame: “After a few years, every relationship can get old. Even when it’s with a vampire.”

Answer: lame. Comedy is all about making it look effortless, and this simply tries so hard it wets itself like an overexcited puppy.
actually, Sevakis, its your comment that is trying too hard to be clever and soooo insightful.
Gonna have to back up Sevakis on this one. It’s trying too hard to milk the concept and stretch it into a “short” instead of a quick vignette.
This sort of thing falls somewhere between a Mad TV sketch that goes on way too long, and a filler sketch between shows on a kids channel. Except, y’know, with a chilly undead penis.
The first clip was cute, and I thought that the “that was the best poem about a dragon EVER” and the “sometimes you have to let me be me” lines were decent.
Ok, I thought it was cute!
Not funny.
Frozen vampire penis says it all.
I had a good chuckle over this.
this is hilarious! “that’s what i mean when i say we both have fangs” – ha! classic. when does the next episode come out?
this is hilarious, love the blue gel twilight spoof. it’s time for the comedy world to capitalize on the vampire thing better, could totally see this as a sitcom.
These things crack me up, and are a kind of antidote to the humorless Twilight phenomenon.
what if we’re sick of video spoofs?
LOL! Cold vampire penis! Hehe….this is hilarious. Unless you don’t find cold penis funny. ZING!
Funny!
Meh
It was alright. I don’t want the vampire thing to be over with until I sell my vampire script…
Oh my those are two terrible actors.
Annnnnnnd…….SMACK!!! That’s the vampire sagas officially hitting the wall.
What will the next trend be??? My money’s on underground Canadian massage parlours and the tweens that run them.
If you haven’t heard about this, Hollywood, f..ckin DO WORK….
I’ve already written a screenplay entitled, RUBBER GENTLY. Anyone interested in reading it???
If Anne Rice can move on from vampire mania, can’t we all?
Just once I would like to see one of these projects where the vampires looked like my neighbors – then the genre would surely die. After all, they can’t look like PLayboy and Playgirl cover models. Or can they?
vote-lame
Bit lame, I kinda love anything about vampires..
Genius
It’s a good attempt at satirising the genre. Personally, I think it could have done with more bite.
Yeah,
It does try a bit too hard. Kind of lame, not totally lame. I suspect a lot of the people who like this is are very young and there’s nothing wrong with that. But sooner or later we all make the jump from fast food and pop music to fill in the blank of what you’ve moved on to. Nice try.
An SNL vampire rap video would be better. There are no 3 consecutive seconds in that which hold interest. The timing in that is horrible: Setup, joke, bask in laughter. Repeat.
“There goes date night” made me laugh; subtle and well-delivered.
Nice little spoof
A lot of people on this thread a ripping on it for not being funny, or at least not being their kind of funny, but the jokes are very typical of what you would see in that genre. I think it could be a great vignette in a larger spoof on Monster Movies.
And the lead vampire nailed what he was trying to do.
