I love Jeff Garlin. He’s a fox. Big funny men turn woman on. ICM should find more work for Jeff. He’s being wasted as the sidekick.
I like Jeff too – he’s quite lovable, but there’s a reason he’s just a sidekick. Have you ever seen his stand-up? Generic and flat.
I’m sure I’m flat sometimes, but never generic.
News flash: some big funny men turn other MEN on as well. Jeff Garlin is one cuddly, handsome bear indeed, and a very entertaining stand-up comic as well.
I hate to sound like a douche, being anonymous and all, but there is a reason Jeff isn’t doing more (ie: more BIG) stuff… He’s become impossible to be around. I’ve seen him behind-the-scenes for years (off and on) and something has definitely happened – yelling at underlings and being an all-around tool sometimes, and he never used to be like that… eccentric? sure, but almost always as sweet as the character in his ‘I want someone to eat cheese with’ movie… but now? I’ve seen him go b*tshit on assistants etc on more than one occasion. Keep in mind – I’m saying this as a fan too. I just don’t know what is up with the guy anymore.
Really? That’s crazy talk. Who are you?
Not good news. The high road – always.
I don’t know about his douchiness, but his stand up is generic and flat. If he wasn’t a big guy, he would not be as successful.
Also i like how the previous poster put the asterisk on the “a” in batshit, and did not censor the “shit” part in “batshit”. fail.
I’ve known Jeff since the early 80′s. First up – his stand up is very funny; hardly generic. In fact it is unique. A story telling type of comedy that many find very funny. Generic – no! Different – yes! He’s also a great guy — funny off stage — nice to be around. I always enjoy the hang with him. And I like to watch him on TV. That’s my opinion. I’m sure that opinion is shared by many more then the negative opinions.
I love Jeff!
