My favorite Graham King story starts with him valet parking cars in Santa Monica a long, long time ago. Now he makes movies with Marty and Leo and Johnny. Which is why hope springs eternal for Hollywood wannabes. Still, I've always considered the television biz way more cutthroat than the movie biz, so the producer's Academy Award isn't going to cut it now that he has launched a new company division "dedicated to the development, production and worldwide distribution of television programming", GK-TV. To gain an edge, Graham has hired former Lionsgate EVP/international TV programming and sales exec Craig Cegielski to run it from GK Films' Santa Monica offices. Prior to that, Cegielski worked for King World and Paramount TV.
