Wow — Jimmy and Ari have been friends for a long time, trading clients amongst each other like baseball cards … I wonder what this means for their friendship?
Ari worked like hell for years to get Jim Carrey, but Jimmy hand delivered him to CAA once he opened up. It’s not Jimmy’s fault, because if I had an A-list client like that I’d feel more comfortable with him in CAA’s hands too, but I also understand Ari being pissed off after putting all that work in… Ari directly gave Jimmy Sacha in the hope that Jimmy would reciprocate with Jim Carrey.
This is all going just according to plan for Ari… Now he’s got ‘em right where he wants ‘em…
confused. ari tells sacha cohen to fire jimmy miller. ari begs jimmy to hire dawn saltzman. jimmy miller fires ari’s tv team.
I don’t know how what this means since Mosaic has NO television business….It does not represent any
Important writer-producers and its talent has not driven it to any success as far as getting shows on the air…It is a headline without financial substance …
Alan Shapiro and Mosiac have ownership interest in the TV Guide cable channel. Shaprio can now cut deals for Mosiac projects that are sitting on the shelf to air on TV Guide. Suddenly Mosiac has a Television network to program.
Mosaic’s television division consists of a $100,000 executive, a first look deal at HBO, and Ann blanchard’s retread clients.
This was a bitter Jimmy who just lost Sasha sending a statement to ARie Emanuel.
I’m sure TV networks and studios are dying to be in business with Jimmy. He’s so talented and easy to work with. Stress free and he really shares the upside. A real partner. I love Jimmy.
Stan (above) is a dick who obviously works for WME.
Stan might be a dick, and might even work for WME. But…he’s accurate.
Jimmy is stupid to fuck with Ari. Ari has put up with a lot already. Jimmy has been on the take and holding out his clients as carrots. Ari has all the energy in the world to fuck with Jimmy, and Jimmy can’t handle that for a second. He’s a coward and has lots of secrets. I only wish his tv company mattered, so Ari might get angry enough to send Jimmy into a hole he might never emerge from.
Ann Blanchard’s awesome. Sniping at her reek of sour grapes.
And, no, I’m not her client.
Known Jimmy a long time, and can only say he’s been straight and to the point. In my experience with him, I definitely treated him worse than he treated me – yet he took the high road. He’s his own guy with, for some, a very off putting style, but to those who know him he’s fair. He and Ari have done a lot of work together over the years, shared many clients and respected each other enormously – benefitted enormously. That’s going to continue, even if it hits a bump or two. Truth is, we’re on the outside looking in on that deal.
Ann Blanchard is incredibly bright, effective and has original ideas. She’s a pleasure to work with.
