These ladies aren’t actually going to be seeing the movie, is that correct? They are just lining up 4 days early to get a good spot to scream at the stars as they walk past?
Seriously, spend that time sipping coffee at Urth Cafe or getting lunch at the Chateau Marmont to see all those movie stars and more.
get a fricking life– oh wait you dont have one
I have a running bet with a friend that New Moon will be a higher grossing picture than Avatar this Fall.
At this moment, I have to say, I feel pretty confident I’m going to be victorious.
I don’t see anyone lining up on the street like this to see Avatar.
…..I’m just saying.
*cough*
Who ever made the bet lost when they opened their mouth. Sequels always do better than new movies and New Moon is on that Harry-Potter-cult-following-type stuff.
Yikes! Get a job! Help the poor! Watch the movie when it comes out. You don’t have to camp out for several days.
what a bunch of dorks
Nutjobs. All of ‘em.
Ewwwwwww……..
just shoot me now.
omg and they’re like totally reading magazines with twighlight on the cover. is that nancy kirkpatrick on the left reading EW? lame!
As much as people ridicule these fans (beacuase Twilight IS ridiculous), it is freakish fan love of this intensity and hormonal power that will probably rescue the movie business.
some things are perplexing
Twi-tards
lame…EMPIRE STRIKES BACK? absolutely….NEW MOON? Hell no….
Wow… Twilight fans are not attractive. They’re like female Star Wars geeks.
Ah, to be unemployed and not dating anyone such that you can sit on a sidewalk for four days…
Did this even happen for Star Wars or Star Trek? HAHAHAHAHA
This should come under the heading of “Get a Life”
Sad bastards… Just livin’ the dream though, can’t knock ‘em for that!
And they say there are no intellectuals in LA.
this makes me want to cry for humanity.
I would agree with you but its almost a prerequisite for being American to go see this movie. As such, I’m helping the economy by paying someone to be a place holder for me and the 3 kids I’m bringing.
I figure it is like Star Wars was to those of us in the 40′s/50s age bracket and The Fellowship of the Ring to those in their 20s/30s as well as the Harry Potter films.
Each generation needs their one film that influences their entire perspective on life.
I agree with you that it makes me cry for humanity that this generation has vampires as its rallying theme but it is what it is.
like come on, i love twilight and all but thats a bit too much
I’m not sure whether to pity them or envy them.
The thought of having to suffer an hour of the film without Rob Pattinson is painful. I may have an extended toilet break when its just focusing on wooden Stewart and cheesy Lautner.
I hope the trailer for Remember Me is with New Moon. It would be ludicrious of Summit to overlook the pr opportunities at the NM screenings.
How sad that this generation of women are being conditioned to believe their only means of respect, fulfillment or survival is to be protected by a man. That they must give up everything to follow that man and be a part of his culture or their lives are meaningless. The idea prevalent throughout this content is that women are powerless to protect themselves, let alone be worthy without a man or his way of life.
Where’s Ellen Ripley when you need her?
