  • maisel is an all-time asshole. and for the record, he couldn’t possibly have had LESS to do with the finance facility deal. someone else made that deal happen, and as soon as it was closed maisel forced him out and took the credit.

    • Agree with above. Maisel helped sell the financing to Wall Street know-nothings but he didn’t come up with the idea, he just took credit. Ditto for the films…it was all Kevin Feige and Jon Favreau. He learned well from other credit-stealing moguls like Peter Guber and Jon Peters.

      Yes Maisel is an asshole but he’s nothing compared to the business criminals he works for in NY. Ike Perlmutter deserves to die in a fire on Hanukkah. He’s worse than Bernie Madoff. He’d kill his own mother for a dollar and then send her an invoice for the bullet.

      Somewhere Michael Helfant is pissed as f@*k.

• To “Tree in Forest”…

  I absolutely adore Arad for his sheer genius in setting up and executing deals for media based on merchandising. Hell, the guy is probably solely responsible for this ridiculous trend we’re in regarding “toy” movies… but he is not the creative force that Feige is. If you don’t believe me, check out Robosabien: The Movie.
