Warren Littlefield last night held his annual NBC refugees dinner at Dan Tana’s. This year, there was a long, long, long table of the ex-TV execs. Jeff Zucker’s ears must have been burning.

or one of the escargot that was ordered.
I was seated with my wife at a marginal table not far from the long, long table and though I never heard anything specific there was a toast by someone and it said very loud “Zuck You” and everyone clinked glass and laughed with a roar.
Brandon Tartikoff best described Warren Littlefield as a Cockroach who would survive a Nuclear
Disaster…
What a get-together. The man who ran NBC into the ground, talking smack about the current guy who ran NBC further into the ground.
Warren Littlefield has aleays been a tool. Take about a no talent
Tanas doesnt serve escargot. Try the Karl Malden.
My favorite Warren Littlefield quote of all time: “You fuck the talent, not marry it.” A brilliant and very kind man to everyone on set on the pilot I worked with him on earlier this decade.
What did Vivendi call Comcast after the merger agreement for NBCU was finalized?
ZUCKERS!!!
No axe to grind here, but curious: How do former execs like Warren Littlefield and (especially) Lin Bolen, whose careers are no more, get by financially? They were both relatively young when their executive careers went south, and in contrast to guys like Grant Tinker & Fred Silverman, they never really hit the executive producing jackpot.
So just how do they put caviar on the table?
Warren Littlefield and his team developed the shows that once made NBC great. From Seinfeld to Friends to ER. He is the real thing. And a good guy.
I agree with TV Writer. I was at NBC during the glory years. Oh how wonderful those were. Warren is a good guy, for a TV guy–all things being relative. I remember a company-wide meeting when Bob Wright came out and said that he stood behind Warren and then proceeded to actually stand behind him.
Can’t tell you how much it hurts my soul (and, yes, I do have one) to see that miserable toad who has wrung $17b of value out of NBC keep getting promoted and watch him keep his job even after all he’s done to destroy what was once one of the strongest brands in all entertainment.
As someone once famously said, I hate the little midget.
Zuck U! LMOA – that’s what happens to good underlings who get fired. ZUCK U!!!
Where are the ratings at NBC? What is that zucking sound?
Hardeharhar!
Warren Littlefield a “tool?” NBC was number one– almost with double the ratings of anyone else– the entire time he ran primetime. Compare that to the tragic Zucker
aftermath…. a once dominant, now utterly broken company, embarrassed and mocked by the public, run into FIFTH place ( yes, Univision beats it every night ) now sold to a bunch of greedy cable nitwits, who couldn’t program an alarm clock. NBC is doomed.
