• ABC execs must be smoking crack if they decided to move that albatross to Wednesday. Granted the series ratings were terrible on Friday night but to think it might improve toward the end of the run…somebody is blowing somebody.

• I enjoy Ugly Betty. So glad it’s being given a chance. I also enjoy Chuck and still mourn the loss of Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. Like I need one more NCIS, CSI, Dancing with the losers, or Lost Redux. All the novel and original shows don’t have a chance. It’s weird to think that in the 50′s teleplays were an integral part of the TV fabric. Now we need cable channels for anything that does not accord with formulaic iterations.

• Seriously! Ugly Betty lost its charm when Betty started acting all bossy in the 2nd episode. I mean, she was supposed to be this naive character in the show yet season 2 started with she becoming the mother goose

• The only problem with “Ugly Betty” at 10 PM is that viewers have to first slog through the dreadful “Cougar Town” at 9:30. “Betty” is a perfect match with “Modern Family” and the rest of the current Wednesday line-up (CT excepted). How about a CT switcheroo with resurgent “Scrubs”? That might give ABC a real shot at a true “must see” TV bloc.

• Glad to hear, the show has been GREAT this year, even better than season 1, hopefully people will give it a chance
