EXCLUSIVE: I'm told Management 360 today internally announced that top UK talent agent Duncan Millership has joined its talent department. Millership, who has served as head of the talent division of United Agents since 2007, will relocate to Los Angeles.
“We are continuously looking to recruit new managers whose depth of experience and stellar relationships will serve our clients and our colleagues,” the talent and literary management company’s partners Suzan Bymel, Guymon Casady, Eric Kranzler, Evelyn O’Neill, Daniel Rappaport, and David Seltzer said in the joint statement. “Duncan is one of the most passionate and widely-admired agents in the UK, and his appointment speaks directly to our global vision for our company, and the rising importance of the international marketplace.”
At United Agents, Millership worked with Sienna Miller, Stephen Moyer, Sonya Walger, Adam Campbell, Max Brown, Henry Cavill, Luke Evans, Rosamund Pike, Matthew Rhys, and Luke Mably. Management 360 reps some of the world’s most accomplished actors including Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Garner, Kiefer Sutherland, Salma Hayek, Julianne Moore, Matthew Fox, va Mendes, Channing Tatum, and Taylor Lautner. The company also represents directors and writers including McG, James Mangold, Marc Forster, David Benioff and Mark Boal.
Carl Icahn Now Wants ALL Of Lionsgate
I’m sure the thing that really sealed the deal was the sub-zero weather England’s been having this winter.
Good luck with the culture shock, from one Duncan to another.
Good company. Rappaport and Guymon are great guys. No…I don’t work for the company, am represented by the company or have anything to do with the company. Just stating fact based on experience.
I love how these guys talk about how “international” they are, yet when it comes to producing films their scared shitless of anything that’s not littered with white people and set in America (or the whitest parts of Europe). Case in point, how close Slumdog came to going straight to DVD.
Duncan is a great guy. Most of these people already have managers. Does that mean 360 is poaching?
A name to look out for in the future, a great acquisition. Watch this space !!!
Management 360 will definitely benefit from acquiring Duncan Millership. Hollywood needs a few genuine folk to balance out the bullshit…”Confused”: he won’t need to poach clients, they will only go to him because he is a decent person and hard working.
Duncan won’t have to sell himself too much. As soon as people get to know him they will buy him, because of his hardwork, enthusiasm and drive.
I noted that United Agents management mentioned that they would still co-represent some clients, could this also mean that some of the people Duncan represents in the UK move with him to LA? Many of his clients moved from PDF to United Agents when they were formed. Let’s hope this may be good news for actors like Richard Armitage who needs some exposure in the American market.
