UPDATE: In England they call it the “format” business, not unscripted or reality like they do in Hollywood. So popular format agent Holly Pye resigned yesterday from WME London. A source told me, “WME says it’s business as usual, but she’s another who was frustrated by merger.” I’m told Isabella Zoltowski will be taking Pye’s position. Meanwhile, WME agents from the Beverly Hills headquarters are on retreat in Rancho Mirage. [Commenters, insert your agent joke here].

Wow, another person who is classy and smart is leaving WME. All it leaves are the c students who speak loudly in class and contribute NOTHING.
Holly, congrats luv- I will buy you the next pint (or
when across the pond
So losing top agents and, in turn, an entire element of their TV commerce is “business as usual” ? What happens when they close the London office just like the Shanghai office? Will that be business as usual? Seems like the opposite.
I think it’s time to seriously question the honesty, integrity, and even the business sense of the WME leadership. No one is disputing that Jim, Dave, & Irv deserve an award for their stupidity. But while Ari and Co. may seem great by comparison, and while they may preach of a shiny new ethos for the company, I think it’s time to remember the old adage: all that shines is not gold.
Wake up people.
can’t believe this is the first comment, but Holly worked hard and was one of the unsung heroes of that department. Anyone would be lucky to have her and it is yet another major loss for WME2.
Holly is one of the key players in the format/unscripted business in London. It astonishing that WME would be so left-footed as to lose her.
Holly Pye is FANTASTIC!! I’m sure I speak for many who know her to say I wish her well in her next chapter. I know she will be great wherever she lands and her new employers will be very happy they hired her. She is always good with information, honest, fair and an all around good person.
