EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Lautner Now Hollywood’s Highest Paid Teenage Actor
The Internet is in a frenzy about what is purported to be the full script of the 3rd installment of the Twilight Saga leaked as a downloadable .pdf file. It appears to belong to Jackson Rathbone who plays Jasper in the film franchise. Now I can confirm that it is an early version of the Eclipse script (not the shooting script) and it is Rathbone’s (who probably left it behind at a blood bank). Does it matter? Of course not. Like duh, the script is based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling book. Judging from New Moon‘s worldwide grosses of $682M so far, I say not even this copyright infringement can stop the Twilight Saga juggernaut.

How do you know this is a full script? Is it the one used for shooting? Is it a draft copy which was revised prior to filming? So many questions left open by this information. No offense to you, of course, you’re Hollywood genius. However, in this case, there is much more meat required for the meal.
Read more carefully. He say’s “early version of scipt”. “Not shooting script”
Amanda, please read the article again and all will become clear to you.
JESUS, don’t people know how to READ anymore? or do they just read the headline and go to the comments from there? unreal.
i seem to remember this poster making other inept and pointless comments.
there is such a holier than thou attitude in this post, and the post is soooooooooo inept that I weep for Amanda. unreal.
HAHAHA. I know what an idiot.
whats funny is that you talk about the ‘holier than thou’ attitude, yet scream at amanda and debase her for missing part of the post.
Sounds like the POT calling the KETTLE black!
too bad it wasn’t a paper copy… heck the only paper copy. and it blew away in the wind. please save us from these awful movies.
A blood bank? A vampire movie? I smell a rat. Lol
come on its fairly common for scripts of unreleased films to be found online, not really newsworthy
It’s not common for them to be leaked with incriminating watermarks all over them. But it is hilarious.
its fairly common for scripts of unreleased films to be found online, yes. Its extremely uncommon of part 3 of 3 epic trilogies such as this to leak. To insiders? Yes. To the the general public? No.
Definitely newsworthy…
Just a little side note, The Twilight series is not a trilogy, so this is not part 3 of 3, it’s just the third movie. There are 4 books and are more than likely going to be 5 movies made due to the length of the last book.
i totaly know what you mean. do you know how long i’v been waiting for this script to be leaked, 4 months so there for i pronounce this script
NEWSWORTHY
Anyone with access to wikipedia or a book store has already had access to the basic events of the film.
I hope this draft script will effect the fandom’s anticipation for the movie because frankly this draft is bad. It’s missing the essence of the book just like script for New Moon did.
They could leak a script that kills off every major character and introduces the Jonas Brothers as vampires.
Film will still gross $400M.
LOL!!
That is 100% true. But if that was really the script used to film the movie……… Let’s just say the director won’t live much longer after the premier (: haha
Losing the script is not copyright infringement, but passing on copies (either physically or electronic) can be (e.g., a la music file swapping). I think the script would be considered a derivative work. Making a competitive movie based on the “stolen” script would infringe both the script and the underlying work on which its based. Not going to happen.
So, likely a nonevent except some fans might read and take the bang out of watching the movie the first time. However, these rabid fans would like run to the theaters regardless of how many times they read the script or even if they had wrote it.
Kudos to whoever had the original idea to buy the rights to that story. Well done.
This spells B.S. to me, i mean, come on! its not even the final draft yet! chillax people!
Not newsworthy John, but maybe Twighlight-fan hit-frenzy worthy…
accidents happen, so no big deal.
well if u hav read the book, the script shouldnt be such big news xp <3
Who cares? It’s not like we’ll ever get rid of this idiotic story…
Want vampires? Either read Anne Rice or watch True Blood.
just to the people that don’t like twilight and think its a stuped saga i don’t think its stuped but thats just my opinion and other people don’t have to hate on you just because you believe something diferent to them, because truth be told in 2 years when we don’t have the spere of the moment happiness we still need our frieds.
It’s a script for an adaptation. I really don’t think there will be a lot of spoilers. Besides most shooting script differ dramatically from the earlier versions. Also, no amount of spoilers can stop all of the obsessed chick geeks from gushing over Teen Wolf’s abs.
Isn’t he a Paradigm client? And it’s a watermarked script. Not the best PR move for a company that’s supposed to be in the information business…
Considering how closely (to mind-numbing effect) the producers claim they adapt the movie to suit the book it’s hard to think of this as a big deal.
I really hope that is either a fake script or an early with a load of changes to the shooting one coz man, that script is so unbelievably awful!
Hey kimberly what a perfect comment that script leaked was indeed awful Bella runs to sit on Jacobs bike right in front of Edward she will never ever do that. I think if this scene is true it needs to be changed that brings down her love for Edward she will never go with anyone for that matter when edwards right in front of her dont drift from the book so much that scene impacts bella and edwards relationship.
I sure hope it changed a lot! She made Edward look like a wimp! This was supposed to be the sweetest love story book of all three. That’s why it’s most people’s favorite.
You mean someone actually WRITES a script for these movies?
Wow. Makes me appreciate the real heavy lifting in movies like The Blind Side or The Hangover or Avatar. By comparison, these scripts are tantamount to a Phd theses level of writing excellence compared to Twilight’s kindergarten composition books.
Sorry, just being honest. And blunt.
What’s the big deal? There’s a book that tell pretty much what happens…
Not everyone has to like every genre of movie so let’s lay off the making fun of the movie and its fans. You know, not everyone who likes this is a “tween.” I’m proud to say I’m 53, loved both installments, and looking foward to the rest.
The interest and genuine fan base generated by the vampire s/l in Twilight is not something new. For those old enough to remember, another vampire had – and still does have – a very devout fan base. In 1968 Dan Curtis Productions did a soap opera on TV called Dark Shadows. The supernatural aspects of the show were not in the original production and it was actually minutes away from cancellation when the character of Barnabas Collins was introduced. He appeared claiming to be a descendant but was actually the originally Barnabas, a 175-year-old vampire. That show, the charater of Barnabas, and Jonathan Frid, who played him and who is now in his 80s, had and still has a massive and loyal fan base.
Not everyone likes stuff like this and no one has to but neither do you have to have be snide and critical. Live and let live, like and let like.
LittleMo, you said it!!! its very annoying when people degrade these movies, when they have no right to judge them!:D
i’m 16 and i think these movies are the greatest things in the industry right now, besides harry potter.
please if you dont like these movies, keep it to yourself, and mind your own business if its so annoying to you.
It was so nice to read that another fan is in her 50′s and is enjoying the sagas. Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful story teller. The entire series speaks to the romantics in all of us. I too remember the afternoon series of Dark Shadows. Very cool show for the 60′s.
This story has broad appeal. My sis-in law, 41, got me into it and I’m 52. We both LOVE the Twilight Saga. Books, movies, fan fiction… I’m not sure why the story and characters are SO addictive (Subliminal messages… deals with the devil… drug-laced pages? Heh.) but this is the first book series that I read and immediately re-read. Three times!
But my love of vampire stories does go back to childhood. I too was into Dark Shadows and had a huge crush on Barnabas Collins.
If you are a fan of the books, don’t ruin the movie by reading the script. What a waste.
I totally agree with you… The books are great! Why would you want to ruin your enjoyment of the movie by reading the script…
I completly disagree ! I am a huge fan of the books. I didn’t read the New Moon script and when I saw it at midnight on opening night I was disapointed from the changes that were made from the book. I had to see it 3 times just to understand how /why they could make those changes. Now that I read the Eclipse script my expectations are now lowered. I now know that they will NEVER get the love of Bella and Edward correctly portraed in the movies. I will still see the first showing of this move but my heart will not be broken like it was in New Moon cause I now know what to expect ! I guess the leg hitch seen, the true tent seen,Bella and Jocobs coversation after the fight( which I cried while reading) and last meado seen will only live on in my head.
People will still go to the movies regardless of this online leak. As a viewer (fan or not) which one would the majority of paying prospect would rather have; the online leak info or watch the movie and experience it? I think it’s very obvious that the later would be the outcome. I mean the story is there in the book… what leak?
The script was leaked…but how can I not find it online? Has Summit already swiped it off the internet?
Leakage or no leakage, I am definitely looking forward to watch the film!
I am sure all of us visualised ‘Bella, Edward, Jacob, the Cullens etc’ while reading the books, the film only allows us to see how well the actors pull it off and so far they have done a remarkable job.
Everyone should remember that none of the lead actors were particular obsessed or even acquainted with the Twilight Books, yet for them to play characters they hold little or no interest in and to actually pull it off is awesome.
Twilight haters: We do not force you to watch the film or make snide comments about it, if you do not like it that’s that, no need to be cruel.
What’s the big deal? If you are a huge twilight fan and you read the script now, you’re going to be bored when you see it. There’s no point. The actors wouldn’t want this, would they? Just forget it and wait for the film to happen.
