Broadcasting & Cable reports that NBC is “seriously considering” a plan to offer the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards live across the country when the network broadcasts the ceremony August 29. The potential move follows the network’s first coast-to-coast live Golden Globes telecast last month. Can’t you just feel the excitement? Ugh, yet another awards show I’ll have to live blog…

Seriously! At least I have the option of ignoring these award shows. I can’t imagine having to actually cover them and pretend like you even care.
That would be nice… so the people who work on the shows that are being feted can actually watch it live (instead of trying to find someone with the East Coast feed).
Live on the West Coast, or tape-delayed as usual?
I know what you mean, I’m not a fan of blogging about award shows, at all…Live blog or not, they are time suckers. Do people really still watch the Emmys, though?
Buck up Nikki!
You’ve got six months to psych yourself up for television’s annual masturbation festival!
Too bad it’s in August, rather than September. If it were a month later Conan could host it!
