Oscars Draft Margolis For Countdown Show

Jeff Margolis will executive produce the Red Carpet arrivals show “Countdown to the Oscars 2010” for the 82nd Academy Awards, producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic announced today. The show will air on the ABC Television Network at 5 PM PT, immediately preceding the Oscar telecast.

He directed the Oscars several times in the early 90s, before Louis J. Horvitz took over. He sure is gonna feel right at home.
