Well, this is a surprise. Stanley Gold is rejoining Gang Tyre Ramer & Brown. Gold was managing partner of the law firm until 1985, when he left to become president/CEO of Shamrock Holdings, Roy Disney’s private investment company. He also joined the board of directors at Disney at that time and served until 2003, when he and Disney resigned in a highly public dispute with ex-Disney topper Michael Eisner. At Gang Tyre Ramer & Brown, Gold will be Of Counsel, legal-speak to explain he’s not an associate or a partner. He’ll continue doing work for Shamrock Holdings, and his focus at the law firm will be high-level financing and corporate deals.

Stanley is a true gentleman and a brilliant strategist. He is loyal, honest and has great integrity. I am indebted to him. Martin Gang would be proud he is returning to his roots.

When did he leave Shamrock?
I have known Mr. Gold for many years through charity events and business activities. He is a true ‘mensch’ and a one of a kind businessman. Thoughtful, strategic and honest!
Someone please remind Mr. Gold his 50th high school reunion is saturday june 26th and is not to be missed…..even for the dodger-yankee game.
Stanley is one of best people I have ever met. Having the tremendous opportunity to work with Stan offered me a foundation for my future. He sets a standard that may be difficult to reach – but is a fine standard indeed. I will always be indebted to his kindness and example of integrity.
