Neil Patrick Harris has a TV-heavy resume. Now he’s just landed the lead in Smurfs: The Movie for Sony. Harris won’t have to walk around as a blue-tinted Avatar, either. The Raja Gosnell-directed film is a mix of live action and animation, and Harris is the lead live action character. Filming begins in April, when he’ll be on hiatus from CBS’ How I Met Your Mother.

I loved the smurfs and i love neil patrick harris, this is getting tivo’d for sure.
The taste level of American filmgoers isn’t very high. Nearly haf the country voted for Palin as V.P. I mean, really.
I think he’ll get an audience out of his loyal fans, at least. Nobody passes up the chance to laugh at their favorite film star in a kilt, a funny hat and blue skin. Actually, at least it is America!
I can say that he is thus far the shining bit of light in this travesty of an idea.

I was born in 1960 so The Smurfs aren’t exactly in my wheelhouse, but this sounds like the worst idea for a movie since Viewmaster (which, as someone born in 1960 is indeed in my wheelhouse but I still don’t comprehend how you make a movie based on a plastic toy).
If this is really 3D, I’m to watch Neil, love him!
I’m surprised how NPH been able to resurrect his career with How I Met Your Mother….good for him though. My three kids are sure to love his new Smurfs movie for sure.
Great article. Waiting for more.
You seem to know a lot about this. This is good blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.
Thank you for the post, I actually learned something from it. Really quality content on this site. Always looking forward to new article.
Who is the lead smurf? Papa smurf?
NPH is such a great actor, can’t wait to see Smurfs.
I just love Neil Patrick Harris!!! He’s my hero
FUNNY, FUNNY, FUNNY
Neil Patrick Harris is the bomb ( what a bomb, runnnnn)).
We would also like to express that most of those who find themselves without having health insurance are typically students, self-employed and people who are out of work. More than half of those uninsured are under the age of 35. They do not feel they are needing health insurance because they are young and also healthy. Their own income is often spent on houses, food, plus entertainment. A lot of people that do go to work either whole or part time are not offered insurance by their jobs so they go without owing to the rising tariff of health insurance in the us. Thanks for the suggestions you share through this website.
I like your website! This had been an incredibly nice read.. keep up the excellent work that you’re very talented! I am going to have to look at some of your other blog posts.
