Alloy Entertainment has beefed up its West Coast office, tapping NBC comedy executive
Gina Girolamo as SVP television. Alloy’s long-time West Coast head Bob Levy has been named EVP, film. Additional promotions and hires include Andrew Wang as VP television and Polly Auritt as director development, Film. Wang will report to Girolamo out of the new Warner Bros lot office; Auritt will report to Levy and be based at Alloy’s Wilshire Blvd. office.
“As Alloy’s filmed entertainment grows exponentially every year, it’s a necessity for us to have two separate film and television development teams focused on their specific areas,” Alloy’s CEO Leslie Morgenstein said.
Alloy, which has a first look television deal at Warner Bros. Television, is behind such series as Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries and the upcoming Pretty Little Liars and Huge. On the film side, the company is developing Au Pairs with Flower Films and Warner Bros.
Girolamo spent 10 years at NBC, most recently as VP comedy for the network and the studio. During her tenure there, she developed 30 Rock and My Name Is Earl.

Andrew is a fantastic executive. Alloy continues to be lucky to have him!
go gina!!!! what a loss for nbc because she is amazing. can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to alloy.
Yay for Andrew! He deserves it. Alloy is a pleasure to talk to and they are always play well with others in this Hollywood playground.
Is this a bad time to point out that Alloy is the devil, basically? As much as The Finke likes to snark at The New Yorker, their Alloy piece is a must read for anyone interested in understanding how that company works.
You are correct. New Yorker piece was disturbing.
Don’t know Gina, but I worked with Andrew on something last year and he is fantastic!
Wang is awesome. Kudos!
Really, Writer #1002939? Have you ever worked with or for Alloy? I suppose it depends on your particular definition of “the devil,” but I have had the distinct pleasure and honor of working with several people at Alloy, and they are all incredibly smart, creative and wonderful. I read the New Yorker article, too, and it only reinforced what I already knew: Alloy rules. If that makes me a Satanist, um, yay!
Another step in the right direction for Alloy, with smart hires in Auritt & Girolamo and a brilliant promotion for the much-deserved Andrew Wang.
I’m in the happy company of a cadre of writers, agents, managers, producers, and executives who are fortunate enough to work with Wang regularly. If Gina G. and Polly A. are consistent with the unparalleled insight and passion that Andrew brings to the table, Alloy’s success will continue to grow.
CONGRATS GINA! I coach wrestling where her husband and I’m totally amped for her and the family!

Check your royalty statements very, very carefully. I’m not looking for a public pissing match with Alloy but I know what I’m talking about. Do not trust these people.
Don’t believe me? Ask Morgenstein’s former partner, Ann Brashares. Ask their former close allies at Writers House. But most of all, make sure your contract gives you the right to audit them. Then get out of there as soon as you can.
Gina is amazing. We are so excited for her and know that it will be a successful move! Congratulations!
