• I truly could not be more bored with 3D. It seems like something the industry is trying to poke my eyeballs out with and I hope it just goes away. If I want the world in 3D, I’ll look out the window. Please, please, conglomerates, keep my entertainment inexpensive and flat the way it’s meant to be.

• It’ll go away, Snooze, don’t worry – 3D is following the classic arc of the short-lived fad and this latest piece of news supports that. I reckon it’ll stay around for games and that, if anything, will drive a small market for high-end TVs, but in movies it will fall out of favor when audiences start to find it tiresome.
