USA Network has picked up two more seasons of its flagship series Burn Notice. The renewal comes a month after the spy series wrapped its third season on the basic cable network and two months after the show was spoofed on Saturday Night Live. Previously ordered Season 4 of Burn launches June 3. It is shaping up to be a busy summer for the series creator Matt Nix. His cop dramedy The Good Guys for Fox premieres June 7.

great stuff. I love Burn Notice though I think it’s going to be tough for the writers to keep it fresh for two more seasons.
Way to go, Matt.
Any steady work for Bruce Campbell is a win for humanity in general.
ok Matt Nix deserves his success. Someone needs to explain if his manager is the next jim jones. I hear all these crazy stories. What is Mikkel”s deal. Is he the wackiest person ever and how does he get guys like Schwartz and Nix under his spells. the scientology way. i would love to hear the wackiest stories of this Mikel dude and what he has done to people he “coaches”??????????
I thought Psych was considered their flagship series once Monk left? And this is not overly common of USA to renew any of their series for more than one season.
SNL may have made fun of the show but it got them exposure.
Burn Notice was the number one rated show on cable for a year and a half before SNL ran that sketch. Their numbers stayed the same after the sketch. Probably because SNL gets a fraction of BN’s audience.
