CBS has assembled the cast of the pilot for its View-type daytime panel talk show, eyed as a potential replacement for departing daytime soap As the World Turns. Leah Remini is the latest to be cast in the pilot, joining fellow panelists Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete and Sharon Osbourne. She is the third sitcom star on the panel, along with Gilbert and Robinson Peete. The panel talk show, which focuses on topical events through the eyes of moms, is executive produced by Tom Forman and Gilbert. It is among several, including reboots of classic game shows Pyramid and Password, which are in the running to replace As the Word Turns in September. Remini most recently starred in the ABC comedy pilot It Takes A Village this past development season.

I love Leah Remini! So great to hear that she is coming back to TV
I agree, Anna! Leah is hilarious!!! One of the funniest TV actresses of our time. She’ll be great!
i have watched the soaps on cbs for forty yeaars. that was my break in the day and when i was taking caare of my sick husband.all we need is another talk show to exploit people that must want to be on tv so bad they will do anything. iretired from work and now i am retiring from cbs, i have problems of my own and i do not need to hear all of the bull the talk shows bring,
I so wholeheartedly agree with this response. I cannot believe you took a wonderful soap opera off, actually I should 2 soap operas off the air. Now you have really done it. Another talk show is just what we do not need. I retired a cou;e of years ago and was just getting back into watching my soaps. Now there are only 2 left. I am so fed up with what CBS is pulling, you are doing the same thing as all the other networks. I guess I will have to subscribe to some movie channels. Al after my shows are over at 2:00 in the afternoon here in Dayton, Oh. I will be turning off the TV. It really sucks.
I am 74 years old and have wacthed CBS for over 45 years. Now
that you have taken two of the best soaps off and put on a lot of unintersting shows, I guess I will have to change to another channel. You could have come up with some new soaps. If you keep taking off the good characters on Young & Restless and Bold & Beautiful I guess I will just stop watching day time TV on CBS.
Sara Gilbert is extremely smart. I’ll give the show a chance because it was her idea.
