EXCLUSIVE: 100 Questions creator Christopher Moynihan has inked a two-script deal with ABC Studios to write and executive produce two comedy projects for the studio. The projects will be co-produced by Tagline Pictures whose sister management company Thruline Entertainment manages Moynihan. Moynihan, who started off as an actor and is still active in front of the camera, is also attached to co-star in the shows for ABC Studios and, like he often does, is expected to pen supporting roles for himself in his scripts under the deal. In addition to creating 100 Questions, which was originally scheduled for a midseason run on NBC but was bumped to summer, Moynihan executive produced the multi-camera comedy and had a recurring role on it. He is additionally repped by Rothman Brecher as a writer and by Domain for acting.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. And 100 Questions was a great pilot script. Not sure what happened along the way but he has a great show in him.
I completely agree. This was a really good script that turned into crap. It happens some times, but with two attempts at it (with different casting) you would think they could figure it out.
NBC is what happened to the pilot.
Notice he is with ABC now!
Ugh. Really? Not to be hating, but I’ve seen an episode or so. Deeply, deeply unfunny! Best if I took half the money NBC laid out on this thing, kicked them in the nuts, and called it even.
No offense to the Moynihan, but last week when “100″ launched I had fallen asleep and woke up thinking I had missed out on the set-up to “watching a PURPOSEFULLY bad sit-com being watched by character members on ‘THE OFFICE’.”
I kept waiting for the reveal but soon realized it WASN’T a bit.
Good for him though for making it work any way he can.
We all know that “studio notes” (from underlings looking to justify their jobs) can cause a train-wreck.
Here’s hoping he creates the next “Seinfeld.”
But in today’s day and age, it better be “Friends ’98″ numbers-wise out of the gate.
Don’t look at me, I thought Moynihan was writing a bucket list!
Ohhhhh!
me too. maybe he can do The Bucket List/ TV show for ABC
Fingers crossed
Jesus Christ. This is who they give script deals to. How about writers who have managed to get decent (or at least not critically savaged) shows on the air?
Who is “they,” as in, “they” keep giving deals to bad writers? The same “they” who are putting crappy shows on the air? Did you ever think “they” were the ones screwing it up in the first place? Moynihan can write. He just needs to learn to stand up to “them” a little more. You think Tina Fey takes “their” notes? Then again, nobody watches 30 Rock.
OMFG! So THAT’s what happened to the third guy on the US version of “Coupling!”

PS: I want to know how and why I remembered him. (By face. I had to look up his name at IMDB.)
He’s a good actor, LOVED him in For Your Consideration and Mighty Wind, hope to see him in front of the camera too.
I liked his Foster Hall pilot too.
I think that the show was amazing. Chris has done so much for this show to go on, and he is an amazing actor and writer.
Keep going Chris. You got this.
This show is great! For only 3 shows it’s doing good. If anyone recalls, friends, and seinfield were not that great their first season. It takes awhile for a show to get a good rythm.
